Nicki Gondell - Principal
Trend House was founded by Nicki Gondell in 1999 as a boutique marketing and design consulting firm
specializing in the forecasting of lifestyle trends and their application to the fashion, beauty, home interiors
and consumer products markets.

Nicki has ten years’ consulting experience, beginning her career in 1991 as Marketing Director of Nigel
French International, the world’s first trend forecasting service, where she was instrumental in developing
the subscriptions and special projects business in North America. In 1995, Nicki joined ESP Inc. as Vice
President, Special Project Strategies where she created the Special Projects division, as well as managing
a varied client base of subscription clients.

Nicki has been quoted in numerous consumer and trade publications including Womenswear Daily, The New
York Times, Allure, Mirabella, Beauty Fashion, Cosmetic World and others, and has appeared on the Oprah
Winfrey Show to discuss fashion trends.

Debbye Strickler
Debbye joined the Trend House team in 2001 as a specialist in the kids, juniors and accessories markets.
In addition to her roster of subscription clients, she is in charge of all visual research and art direction for the
Special Projects area.

Debbye graduated from Parsons with a degree in textile design and has worked in the apparel industry for
more than thirteen years as a designer and consultant. As a former client of Trend House, Debbye
understands how to translate concept into product. She brings a deep knowledge of product design and
manufacturing to Trend House’s trend forecasting business, and can work with our clients to apply the trends
directly to their businesses.

Prior to joining Trend House, she was Design Director for Tri-Coastal Design overseeing their accessories
merchandising and product development. Before that she worked as a textile designer for Anne Klein and
Echo Scarves and designed a line of hair accessories for Anne Vuille.
